Universal data and Time Code
converter interface
The AV-TCI 70 Time Code interfaces are small, low cost boxes for all fields of professional and semi-professional audio/video post-production which require Time Code, time or date information.Depending on the selected option(s) and the configuration of the unit, the TCI 70 can be used as a generator, reader and converter as well as a composite video inserters for several Time Code standards or times.
The RS232 operational interface and the Windows operational software (available at www.alpermann-velte.com ) permit the user to adjust the specific functions of the unit and may be modified if required. Frequently used settings (user profiles) may be selected and saved for future recall.
The 4 programmable function keys permit simple operations, such as change of profiles, generator START/STOP, inserter positioning etc. All changes can be made even if the unit is functioning.
If the AV-TCI 70 software has been modified or improved in any way by us, users can download and install the software update directly from www.alpermann-velte.com.
The AV-TCI 70 has a stable aluminium housing and may be used as a stand-alone desktop unit, or up to 4 AV-TCI 70's may be built into a 19"/1U front panel.
