The AV-TC 60 Series Modules are small, portable black boxes with a built-in LTC and/or VITC reader that have a serial interface. Time Code information can therfore be frame exact transfered to pc's.

When reading LTC and/or VITC, time, user and statusbits are simultaneusly processed. The frame rate (24,25,30,30DF) is automatically identified and selected.

The serial interface can be either a RS232 or a RS422. Baud rates are selectable from 4800 to 38400 baud.

Different protocols are selectable by DIP switches:
1. Data transfer after request.
2. Automatic transfer after a new Time Code is correctly received.
3. Sony RS422 remote protocol.

All TC60's are shipped with a external power adapter. In addition the TC60 RL and TC60 RV have a internal 9 volt batery compartement.
